Lucha Libre exploded across Latin America following the rise of El Santo in Mexico in the 1940s. The dramatic acrobatics performed by both luchadores técnicos (good) and luchadores rudos (bad) produced many well-known fighters from El Salvador, inspiring the name of this standout lot.

JASAL are known for exceptional processing standards and meticulous attention to detail, producing some of the region’s highest-quality microlots. Los Luchadores is their “Prize Fighter” coffee—crafted with extra care from picking through processing to ensure every batch meets the exacting standards they’re known for. Even the sacks are hand-painted, reflecting the pride and craftsmanship behind this coffee.

This Pacamara lot (a cross between Pacas and Maragogype) is sourced from two contributing farms. El Molino provides the majority, with a smaller share from San Francisco.

At Beneficio Los Cruces, cherries are soaked Kenyan-style for 10 hours in clean water before being soaked again in fresh water. This gentle double-soak enhances clarity, depth, and body, producing a cup that is subtle yet layered.
