We roast in small batches here in Ireland, ensuring every order is freshly prepared by our Irish-based roastery. While our beans are sourced from the best coffee-growing regions worldwide, all roasting is done locally for peak freshness. Freshly roasted beans retain more aromatic oils, richer flavour notes, and higher cup quality compared to supermarket coffee that may be roasted months before reaching shelves.

How fine should I grind my coffee beans for different brewing methods? ⌄

Grind size has a huge impact on flavour. A coarse grind suits French press, medium grind works for drip machines, medium-fine is ideal for Aeropress, and a fine grind is best for espresso. If the grind is too coarse the coffee tastes weak; too fine and it becomes bitter. Grinding fresh before brewing always gives the best aroma and consistency.

Which roast level is best for Irish coffee drinkers? ⌄

Light roasts highlight origin flavours and gentle acidity. Medium roasts offer balanced depth and remain the most popular choice for Irish home brewing. Dark roasts provide rich chocolatey notes and lower acidity, perfect for those who enjoy a strong, full-bodied cup.

How quickly do you deliver coffee beans across Ireland? ⌄

We deliver nationwide. Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and all other counties using fast, reliable couriers. Most orders arrive within 1–2 working days, ensuring your beans reach you while still at peak freshness.

How long do roasted coffee beans stay fresh? ⌄

Whole beans stay fresh for 3–4 weeks after roasting when stored in an airtight container away from light and heat. For the best flavour, grind only the amount you need immediately before brewing.
